Main uses:
• Specialized for thinning oil paint and cleaning oil paint brushes
Characteristic:
• Suitable for use with oil-based and alkyd paints
• Reduces thickness and increases paint spread significantly
• Suitable for mixing primer paint (the first layers of oil paint)
• Can be mixed with other oils and solvents to increase dilution
• Helps paint dissolve evenly and dry a thin ("thin") layer of color.
• Can be used to create a “watercolor” effect for oil paints
• Specially used as a cleaning agent for dried varnish (protective coating) on the surface of oil paintings
• Slow to dry, volatile and less toxic than traditional pine oil
• Evaporates after drawing, leaving no residue
