Details:
Flax oil is exposed to the sun for a long time, then thickened and impurities removed. - Oils: Base of oil paint. Basically, oils (most commonly linseed oil) are used as both Binder and “Vehicle” for oil paints. Paint oils can be added to paint to change the texture of the color layer - adjusting consistency, gloss and drying time. Especially when painting in multiple layers, using oil helps retain the "flexibility" and durability of the color layer in complying with the rule of "fat" on "thin" / thick layer on top of thin layer / oily layer on top. layer with little oil or a lot of solutes/long-drying layer on top of the quick-drying layer, preventing excessive thinning of oil color when using solvents.
- Solvents (Mediums): Used to change the texture of the color layer – adjusting consistency, gloss, flow drying time and texture. Use in sufficient quantity.
