Winton Artist’s Satin Varnish - Painting protective coating (soft gloss) W&N

Trademark: England
Processing: France
Capacity: 400ml

Uses:

Creates a protective layer for soft glossy surfaces, darkens colors, creates reflection, and does not yellow for both oil and acrylic paints.

Drying time required to apply varnish:

Basically, oil paint is the oil-based color that takes the longest to dry compared to almost all other colors, so it takes at least 6-9 months for the color to dry completely so you can use varnish to avoid fading. The solution dissolves in the paint, causing damage to your work. The safest time is 1 - 2 years for paintings with dense layers of oil paint. In special cases when you need to temporarily cover the painting to protect or create a glossy surface while waiting for the painting to dry so you can continue to complete the work later - you can use the Retouching Varnish line. (Note that the painting must be dry for at least 1 month to use this product)
