 This special paint box, invented by Masterson, will help keep water-based paints, especially acrylic and gouche colors, moist for hours . When kept in a closed box, the paint can stay moist for days, even weeks. All thanks to the moisture-retaining sponge and the special waterproof Sta-Wet Acrylic Paper included in the box.
 The color will absorb water to maintain moisture without fading.
 Can be mixed directly on "Sta-Wet" waterproof paper without fear of tearing.
 Instructions for use:
 Soak Sta-Wet Acrylic Paper in hot water for about 15 minutes until the paper is saturated with water. Don't worry about the paper being damaged if soaked longer. You can place the paper in a plate filled with water and microwave it for about 3-5 minutes until the water boils.
 Clean the sponge of any impurities before first use. Dip the sponge in plain water, then wring out about half the water. Return the sponge to the paint tray with the smooth side of the sponge facing up.
 Place Sta-Wet Acrylic Paper on top. Use a cloth or paper towel to absorb excess water from the paper.
 Squeeze paint onto paper. Paint may soak into sponge so wash it after use.
 Sta-Wet Acrylic Paper can be reused by washing the color off the paper by scratching or rubbing gently. Let dry. Both sides work.
